Our Beliefs Are Based Entirely on the Bible โ God's Inspired Word
Our beliefs are drawn entirely from the Bible โ God's inspired Word. We do not follow human tradition or philosophical doctrine, but seek to understand and apply what the Scriptures actually teach. Here are some of the core beliefs we hold dear.
We believe the entire Bible is God's inspired Word โ accurate, reliable, and beneficial for guidance in every aspect of life. It is the foundation of all our beliefs and practices.
โ 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We worship Jehovah as the only Almighty God, the Creator of all things. His personal name, Jehovah, appears thousands of times in the original Bible text and represents His eternal identity.
โ Psalm 83:18
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer. He gave his life as a ransom for mankind and now rules as King of God's heavenly Kingdom. He is distinct from God the Father.
โ John 3:16
We believe God's Kingdom is a real heavenly government with Jesus Christ as King. It will soon bring lasting peace, justice, and perfection to the earth, ending all suffering and wickedness.
โ Matthew 6:9-10
We believe in the resurrection of the dead โ that God will bring back to life billions of people who have died, offering them the hope of everlasting life on a restored paradise earth.
โ Acts 24:15
We uphold Bible principles for building strong, loving families and peaceful communities. We believe that applying Bible counsel leads to happier marriages, better parenting, and genuine friendships.
โ Ephesians 5:33
As Jehovah's Witnesses, our beliefs are not merely theoretical โ they guide every aspect of how we live, treat others, and view the world. We strive to be honest, peaceable, and law-abiding citizens who contribute positively to our communities.
We maintain strict political neutrality, believing that God's Kingdom is the only government that can truly solve mankind's problems. We respect the governments under which we live and obey the law, while giving our primary allegiance to God.
We also believe in the importance of personal Bible study, regular meeting attendance, and sharing our faith with others โ not through force or pressure, but through respectful, heartfelt conversations about what the Bible teaches.
